Skin doesn't change quickly.
Nothing worth keeping does.
Brightening serum
30 ml — a clear gel, for morning and night
A well-studied ingredient for the look of uneven tone. Helps the skin barrier feel supported while the rest of the formula works.
A gentle exfoliant with a molecule too large to sink far, so it works at the surface. This is the part you notice first — skin looks smoother, a little brighter.
Widely used to improve the appearance of dark spots, including the marks breakouts leave behind.
Used to improve the look of discoloration. Two percent is the ceiling worth using. More does nothing.
Works alongside niacinamide. Helps skin feel hydrated.
What no one tells you
You will not see anything for weeks.
Skin renews itself on its own schedule — four to six weeks — and no serum shortens it. What you notice first is the exfoliant: smoother, a little brighter, within days. Any visible change in dark spots comes later, and only alongside daily sunscreen. Without it, sun exposure works against you faster than any bottle can help. This is true of every brightening serum ever sold. Most don't say so.
I make this myself. Every bottle is weighed, mixed, rested overnight, pH-corrected by hand, and filled in my own kitchen. Batches are small because one person can only do so much in an evening.
I'll tell you when a batch is made and when it runs out. If something goes wrong, I'll tell you that too.
Batches are made by hand, a hundred grams at a time. When this one is gone, the next takes about a week.
